As you read this, the fall session of our RE program is coming to a close. November 19th is the last Sunday of our fall session. It has been a good start to the year.

On November 26th we will begin our “Seven Weeks of Unity.” During this time we will focus on Holidays from different traditions and cultures and UUA identity. Last year we ran a workshop rotational model and we will be doing this again. On the Sundays of November 26, Dec 3, 10 and 17 we will have four different workshops — UUA holiday ornaments, candle making, cooking and holiday giftmaking. Each class group will rotate through all the workshops.

Each of these Sundays we will have a story in the children’s chapel that ties midwinter holidays from around the world into our seven principles.

On December 24th we will have an intergenerational Christmas Eve service, and on the 31st an intergenerational Kwanza service.

The last Sunday, January 7, the RE program will experience a Just Sunday and focus on the Homeless and Hungry project at May.
