Five ways to keep May Memorial and UUism in your life this summer
Thursday, 07/01/10
  • Sunday Worship: 10:30 am every Sunday – even on July 4th and Labor Day weekend. A smaller attendance means a better chance to interact with those who are here.
  • Roll up your sleeves: Help our Unsung Heroes insulate classroom walls on the lower level. Who knows – maybe you’ll be an Unsung Hero someday!
  • More Sunday Worship: Visit another UU society – near (First UU) or far. (See www.uua.org/aboutus/findcongregation)
  • Buy in: Remember to keep up your pledge payments, whether or not you are here on a Sunday. It’s a low cash-flow time of year, and we need you. You may wish to note whether you are finishing up last year’s pledge, or beginning anew for 2010-11. But never fear; our bookkeeper Leslie Dendy ( This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it ) is great at keeping everything in its proper bucket.
  • UU Summer Camp: Our closest Unitarian Universalist camp is Unirondack, then comes Rowe in western Mass. But there are many others around the country, and most have week-long programs for adults and families as well as for youth. Oh, and UULTI counts, too. (see page 8) Remember, “Tomorrow’s leaders are at camp today.”
